So here we go - two experimental pieces. The left hand and right hand pots are identical in their construction and finish, except they had a different protective slurry put on the outside for the actual smoke firing. You can see how the left hand vessel has much more defined markings, so it tells me that this had the better slurry mix. And so the experiments continue... A bit more colour would be nice, but we are getting somewhere at last.
